Taking on the IRS...

Tax time is here! If you were smart, much unlike myself, your taxes were done long ago and you're thinking up ways to spend your sizeable refund. No, not me. I'm up to my ears in reciepts and paperwork -- who said owning your own business(es) was a good idea?! Clearly they had an accountant! :)

On the bright side, I was able to catch some of the late afternoon sun yesterday and shoot some more Spring product photos for my site. Like the adorable receipt organizer above. With a colorful folder dedicated for each month or category, I'll be much more likely to keep my receipts up to date. I just LOVE the fabric I used for the cover, too. I think I'm going to have to make a few other things with it.......

In the spirit of the impending Spring I was totally inspired to re-photograph some of the new stuff about to go up on my site. And, honestly, how freakin' cute does it look?! I can't wait until its all ready and up in the store. Defintiely check the site (and sign up for our newsletter if you haven't already) for some great, totally new products!!!

There's no place like the spa...... there's no place like the spa......

Just got back from 'nother appointment today.... not much to report. I'll be photographing some of the new and adorable things I've been working on for the site over the weekend. I just couldn't resisit sharing these shoes I picked up in Philly back in February at Guacamole on South Street. No matter how dreary your day (or the weather) may be, you can't help but be cheered up by the spangly shoes!

Look at that sky... and those amazing Bougainvilleas (the picture really doesn't do them justice). Much better than being stranded and working because your car decided today was a good day to not start.

But I digress... I can't believe that it was almost 3 years ago now. How far we've all come, right ladies?! How many kids and weddings has it been since that weekend?

Worst...blogger...ev-er!

So I'm trying to turn over a new leaf and keep up with my randomly streaming thoughts. Because I've been dealing with some health problems as of late, life has been a little sketchy but hopefully it'll all start to calm down soon.

On the bright side, the past 3-4 days I've been in crafting overdrive. I don't think my sewing machine has seen this much action since I discovered that I could win extra cool points if I could match my scrunchies to my boxer shorts in the 7th grade. I'll put up some pics shortly, promise!

I've already made some groovy site inventory updates. Check out the sweet new necklaces - I'm particularly fond of the Blueberry Pie:

I may just have to make one for myself! Turquoise is the new black, you know.

Oh, and I'm scheduled for my first craft shows! I'm psyched and have already started getting my inventory in order. My venture into Super Crafty Land lead me to some really great ideas for things I don't necessarily want to sell through my site, but think the world would be a better place for owning. Did somebody say super-cute tampon/pad holders?!
