We stopped off at the same farm that I blogged about last year, which is a 15 minute drive from my mother-in-law's new home, expressly for the purpose of eating these very donuts. We lucked into getting some from the very last batch of the day, warm from the fryer. If you try hard enough, you can actually hear my husband begging me to hurry up so he could get to eating. I was all too happy to oblige.
